History: a Danish ship, bound from the Texel, Amsterdam, to Surinam, laden with brick, tiles, lime, cheese, butter and geneva [gin]; taken on 28 July 1796 about 11 leagues west of the Skelligs of the coast of Ireland by HMS Magnanime (Michael De Courcy | commanding), and brought first into Cork and then into Plymouth.
